Claire is a devoted mother to three energetic boys and resides in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa. She and her family can often be found outdoors, exploring God’s wonderful creation.
Her love for drawing began at a young age, inspired by her older brother’s artistic talent. She first started sketching animals from encyclopedia pictures before progressing to portraits from magazines. Over time, she developed a passion for capturing the essence of faces through her artwork.
During high school, she studied art and textile design and often spent extra hours in the art room working on her latest assignments. Despite her love for art, she chose not to pursue it as a career at the time, believing that making a living as an artist would be difficult. Instead, she studied Montessori teaching and worked as a teacher’s assistant, where she enjoyed engaging in creative projects with children.
After getting married and starting a family, time for sketching and painting became a luxury as she embraced the role of a stay-at-home mom. Now that her children are older and in school, she is fully dedicated to pursuing her art career with passion and determination.
